Guide: Havapoo price
Havapoo Price: What a Puppy Costs and What You Pay in the First Year
Havapoo price depends on the breeder, the parents and what is included. As a real example, our available Havapoo puppies were listed at $3,250 to $3,500 in October 2026. On top of the purchase price, plan for the first year of food, vet care and grooming, which an American Kennel Club survey put at roughly $2,700 for a small dog.
What a Havapoo price should include
Price only means something when you know what comes with the puppy. Every puppy from us goes home with:
- A full veterinary check-up
- First vaccinations and deworming
- A microchip
- Vet records
- A care pack with a comfort blanket, a starter bag of food and a written care guide
The parents matter too. Ours have an Embark DNA health panel before breeding. See how we health test. When you compare breeders, compare these items first and the Havapoo price second.
Why Havapoo price varies between breeders
- Health testing. Testing both parents costs money, and so does a reproductive vet.
- How the litter is raised. A litter raised in a home takes daily time and attention.
- Size and color. Smaller puppies and unusual colors are often priced higher. Neither makes a puppy healthier.
- Location and demand. Prices differ by region and season.
Current prices and details are always on our available puppies page.
Deposits and delivery
A $500 deposit holds a puppy with us. If you live outside Utah, add the cost of travel. You can fly in and take your puppy home in the cabin, or a flight nanny can bring it to you. The nanny fee depends on your destination, so we quote it before you commit. See pickup and delivery options.
First-year costs beyond the Havapoo price
The purchase is only the start. An AKC survey of dog owners reported these averages for small dogs (AKC):
| Cost | Average for a small dog |
|---|---|
| First year in total | About $2,674 |
| Each later year | About $1,831 |
Treat those figures as a floor. Vet and grooming prices have risen since the survey, and a Havapoo needs a professional groom every four to six weeks. Therefore, grooming is often the biggest routine cost. See our Havapoo grooming guide.
Why a very cheap Havapoo is a warning sign
The Federal Trade Commission warns about ads that offer popular puppies for a few hundred dollars and then ask for payment up front. Often the puppy does not exist (FTC).
A low price can also mean no health testing and no vet care. So before you pay anyone, run the 12 checks in how to choose a puppy breeder.
